Stretchers bearers resting behind a concrete pillbox near Zonnebeke, whilst bringing back men wounded in the fighting at Passchendaele, in the Ypres sector. Identified: Private (Pte) W T Lucas, resting against the bottom left corner of the pillbox; Pte V E Reid, third from left resting against left side of pillbox; Pte W E Blaskett, fifth man from right, standing upright. Note the pillbox is identified as 'Jury'.
