From left to right, back row: Lance Corporal (LCpl) Hedger (possibly 4400 LCpl Stannus William Hedger); Captain Lovell; Major Hugh Raymond Guy Poate AAMC, unidentified private. Front row: Sister Ilma Lovell; Sister Elizabeth Marie Ferrier AANS. Note the colour patch worn by the LCpl Hedger designating 1 AGH. The bar extends across the middle and was replaced by the patch worn by the unidentified private whose patch shows the shortened bar.
