Han Estuary, Korea. c. 1951. A gun crew on the frigate HMAS Murchison operate one pair of the 4 inch Mk XVI guns which are mounted in twin Mk XIX mountings. The guns have just fired, the two spent cases are ejected from the smoking breeches. The loaders have the next two rounds cradled in their arms. HMAS Murchison patrolled the Han Estuary for a total of sixty days from 25 July 1951 at the commencement of Operation Han. (Donor A. Dollard)
