Description
On the last stage of the journey from Milne Bay, Papua, opportunity was taken to give the crews gun practice on a Polsten 20mm ack ack (anti aircraft). Two members of the gun crew are observing accuracy of the shooting. Nineteen ALC 40's and one ALC 120 of 41st Landing Craft Company, Royal Australian Engineers crossed the Coral Sea during the epic voyage from Cairns, Qld, to Jacquinot Bay on the southern coast of New Britain.
