Description
Two members of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR) attend to some Korean casualties. 31998 Sergeant N W 'Doc' Tampling, a Regimental Aid Post (RAP) sergeant (left, wearing glasses), talks to a young Korean man as he prepares to bandage the man's injured foot. 432004 Captain D D Beard, Regimental Medical Officer (RMO) (rear), leans on a pile of rocks as he smiles and watches the first aid work being carried out. The injured man is part of a row of young men sitting on a hillside. Note the worn boots without shoelaces, on the feet of the young man on the right, and the padded jacket on the smiling man (third from right).
