View from the bow of the Royal Navy destroyer HMS Comus (D20) in dry dock for repairs at Kure. The dock is filled with water and heavy wooden beams are supporting the ship from either side. The two heavy, rail mounted cranes dating from the Second World War, can traverse the length of the dock on either side.
