Gallipoli, Turkey. 1915. Lieutenant (later Captain) Leslie Elmiger of the 22nd Battalion, AIF, sighting a rifle through an aperture in a front line trench. Captain Elmiger returned to Australia on 31 October 1917. (Donor Mrs R. Smith)
