M1 Garand Knife Bayonet and Scabbard
Description
M1 Garand Knife Bayonet is single edged with a single fuller on both sides to a spear point. The riccasso is marked UC with a flaming grenade symbol and US. The handle is in black bakelite held to the tang by a single screw bolt and has a release catch button near the straight quillon. It is fitted in an olive green plastic fibre scabbard which is marked US within a flaming grenade symbol on the steel locket that has a double belt hook at the rear for attaching to the web equipment.
