Western Desert, Egypt. Curtiss P40 Kittyhawk fighter aircraft lined up on the edge of a desert airfield with their engines roaring. Faster and more powerfully built than their predecessor, the Tomahawk, these American built aircraft have been flown for some time by No. 3 Squadron RAAF who are hoping soon to bring their total of enemy aircraft destroyed to 200.
