Alexishafen, New Guinea. 2 May 1944. Scene inside the Mission Church at Rempi showing a patrol officer of Australian New Guinea Administration Unit (ANGAU) and some of his native boys. Evidence of Japanese occupation remains and the church and grounds have been thoroughly bombed.
