Australian soldiers are being ferried in a small craft, possibly a DUKW, near the troop transport HMAS Sydney on its arrival in North Borneo (Sabah). The ship was carrying army units and their equipment to Malaysia under Australia's increased Defence aid program. The men are probably members of the 7th Field Squadron or 111 LAA Battery.
