At an Australian Imperial Force (AIF) sports meeting one of the events was a 5-mile cross-country run in which teams from all the surrounding AIF camps took part. Brigadier R. W. Tovell, DSO, ED, Commanding 26th Australian Infantry Brigade, after presenting the prizes, says a few words into the microphone of the sound camera.
