Probably South Vietnam. October 1965. Portrait of Warrant Officer Class 1 (WO1) George Chinn DCM, Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) of 6th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (6RAR), who has been awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal for gallantry in South Vietnam, where he was a military advisor before taking up his present appointment. WO1 Chinn won the award during an action near Lavang, South Vietnam, last April.
