Vic. Paybook photograph of VX36804 Private William John Trickey, 2/7th Battalion, Australian Infantry. Private Trickey, aged 20, died while defending the island of Crete against the German land and airborne invasion on 27 May 1941. He was the son of Robert Joseph and Ivy Trickey, of Seymour, Vic.
