Vic. Paybook photograph of VX33054 Gunner George Edward Perrott, 3rd Light Anti Aircraft Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery. Gunner Perrott, aged 25, died while defending the island of Crete against the German land and airborne invasion on 29 May 1941. He was the son of Henry H. O. Perrott and Mary F. Perrott, of Tumbarumba, NSW. He is commemorated on the Athens Memorial Face 10. (Photograph supplied by the Army's Soldier Career Management Agency.
