NEW GUINEA. SENIOR SISTER J. WHEATLEY, RAAF NURSING SERVICE, AT AN RAAF MEDICAL RECEIVING STATION GIVES A DRINK TO A NATIVE BOY NAMED LAURABURI (WHICH MEANS WHITE CLOUD) WHO WAS INJURED. HE WAS FLOWN TO THE RECEIVING STATION IN AN RAAF BOMBER. THE SISTERS SAY LAURABURI IS THEIR BEST PATIENT. EARLIER THAT YEAR SISTER WHEATLEY HAD BEEN MADE AN ASSOCIATE OF THE ROYAL RED CROSS.
