PAPUA. GONA. AN AUSTRALIAN OFFICER, WHO HAS JUST CRAWLED IN AFTER LYING EIGHT DAYS WOUNDED NEAR JAPANESE LINES, RECEIVED TREATMENT. HE WAS ONLY A FEW FEET AWAY FROM JAPANESE DUG-OUTS AND MANAGED TO REACH THE AUSTRALIAN LINES WHEN THE JAPS WITHDREW FROM THE DUG-OUTS FOLLOWING AN INTENSIVE ALLIED BOMBING RAID. (NEGATIVE BY G. SILK).
