South Vietnam. June 1970. Trooper Bob MacIntosh of Mt Gambier, SA, sends a stream of mud into the air as he tries to reverse his vehicle, call sign 86B, from a swamp after it became bogged. The armoured personnel carrier (APC) is from B Squadron, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, which was taking part in an operation with the Xuyen Moc Regional Force Company on a jungle patrol east of the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) base at Nui Dat.
