Hoi My, South Vietnam. June 1970. Private Wally Koscielecki of Morwell, Vic, adjusts a loudspeaker mounted on top of a Land Rover during a visit by the 1st Psychological Operations Unit. The operation was designed to make contact with the people of the village, south east of the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) base at Nui Dat. Lt Hodda is the commander of an operations section of the unit.
