An unidentified officer (wearing a dark beret) stands at the front of a group of New Zealand Army officers, and addresses soldiers at a camp. The soldiers are probably from the 16th New Zealand Field Artillery Regiment. Note the tents erected in the valley behind the open area where the troops have assembled.
