May 1970. 27881 Major Charlie Stewart (Andrew) Connor of Puckapunyal, Vic, and formerly Griffith, NSW, the senior sector Australian Army Training Team Vietnam (AATTV) adviser at Quang Tri, not far from the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ), in northern South Vietnam discusses problems with Lieutenant Colonel Dinh, the 1st Vietnamese Division's operations officer. Major Connor is the senior of the fourteen Australians in the province.
