Description
Mont St Quentin, France. 14 December 1918. Extensive destruction of vegetation and infrastructure in a landscape near the village. Note especially in the middle background the entrance to a former German pillbox in a brick wall. The original caption, by 8932 Driver John (Jack) Oag Mackenzie, 20th Australian Army Service Corps, reads 'After our troops captured it there were about thirty dead Germans & two Australians lying beside it.'
