Commemorative plaque : UNOSOM II RAAF Air Traffic Control

Burgundy coloured wooden shield with gold coloured metal plaque. The plaque has 'ROYAL AUSTRALIAN AIR FORCE' in blue across the top under which in red is 'AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL / UNOSOM II'. This is flanked by an RAAF roundel to the left, and the United Nations globe emblem on the right. Under this is 'UNITED NATIONS OPERATIONS IN SOMALIA II', with a list of the RAAF personnel who were involved, Squadron Leader Dave Thompson, Flight Lieutenants George Christianson, Peter Brown, Michael Beauglehole, Raymond Brown, Francis Jones, Pat Daly, Steve Edgeley, Clare Willmot, and Flying Officer Robert Graham. To the right of their names on the plaque is an outline of Somalia in blue with Mogadishu indicated. At the bottom of the plaque is 'APR 94 - OCT 94 in red.
