Phuoc Tuy Province, South Vietnam. 1970-01. Soldiers sit atop an armoured personnel carrier (APC) as they move out from Fire Support Base Peggy for a late afternoon patrol. The soldiers from the Brisbane based 8th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (8RAR) are participating in Operation Atherton, 1969-12-10 to 1970-01-06, which is 8RAR's first major operation. The APC is nicknamed Robanne.
