Description
Red Cross Proficiency Medal with Home Nursing clasp, suspended from a crimson ribbon. Obverse: The head of a nurse wearing a veil and a Red Cross to the left. Around the edge are the words 'AUSTRALIAN RED CROSS SOCIETY'. Reverse bears an impressed serial number '893' and the manufacturer's name 'ANGUS & COOTE, SYDNEY'. The top suspender has the word 'PROFICIENCY'.
