Wallet 1 of 1 - Collection consists of a bound typescript memoir titled "My Army Days" by Philip J Hurst about his war service from his enlistment in 1939 to his return to Australia in 1945. Hurst recounts his war experiences in the Middle East, North Africa, Greece, Crete and New Guinea. The typescript includes accounts of the battles of Bardia and Tobruk and maps of Bardia, Tobruk, the Western Desert, Greece and Crete.
