Nui Dat, South Vietnam. 1968-04. Troops of 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), board one of the helicopters of an American assault helicopter company at the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) Base. Some of the aircraft were piloted by Royal Australian Navy officers, who were integrated into the 135th Assault Helicopter Company, a US Army unit.
