Vietnamese children gather around as Gunner Peter Vandermeeden of Port Augusta, SA (left), and Gunner John Fernandes of Seven Hills, NSW, hand out toys at Baria, eight miles from the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) Base at Nui Dat. The toys were collected by the wives of members of Headquarters, 4th Field Regiment, Royal Australian Artillery (RAA).
