Left to right: Private (Pte) Erroll [sic] Nilsen of Dunwich, Queensland, Pte Neville Bryant of Walcha, NSW, and Pte Rod Scott of Glen Iris, Victoria, tried conversing with Vietnamese children in Binh Ba village during Operation Holsworthy. Troops of the 5th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (5RAR), 6RAR, and other Australian Task Force elements marched across country at night to surround the village which had been terrorised by the Viet Cong since 1960. [Pte Bryant is 215784 Neville Rodney Bryant. Pt Scott is 3411693 Rodney Garnet Scott. Pte Nilsen is 1200083 Erald Herman Nilsen who was accidently killed in Phuoc Tuy Province on 14 November 1966.]
