C. 1945-05. The RAAF Short Sunderland aircraft captained by Flight Lieutenant M. S. Mainprize DFC at its moorings at one of its stops on its tour of Australian states in support of the 3rd Victory Loan. During the tour, subscribers of 100 pounds or more to the loan were taken for joy-flights in the aircraft.
