Vietnam. 1967-07. Another form of operation constantly being waged by Australian troops was against the growth of the surrounding jungle. Once an area was cleared by bulldozer or machete, it was sprayed weekly. Staff Sergeant Jack Baumann of Brighton, Qld, with spray gun and back pack on, doing the weekly spraying.
