Cairo, Egypt. 1943-11. Towards the close of 1943, a number of conferences between Allied leaders were held. Left to right: Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek, the Chinese leader, US President Roosevelt, British Prime Minister, Mr Winston Churchill and Madame Chiang Kai-shek seated in a garden during a break in the Three-Power Conference held at Mena House Hotel, approximately twelve miles from Cairo between 22 and 26 November. Behind them stand members of their civilian staffs who took part in the five day discussions.
