Phuoc Tuy province, Vietnam. 1966-10. A field piece stands among sandbagged bunkers and hoochies at an Australian fire support base (FSB) south of Ap Long Cat. Several Australian soldiers, all stripped to the waist, are at work at the FSB which is providing support for operations on Long Son Island by the 5th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (5RAR).
