Description

Australian Red Cross worker, Chief Superintendent Pam Spence of Bentleigh, Vic. Pam, who previously worked with the Australian Military Forces in Singapore, is the only Australian woman in uniform in South Vietnam. Currently serving at the US 3rd Field Hospital, she attends to the needs of Australian and New Zealand troops hospitalised. She is presenting Sapper D. A. James of Liverpool, NSW, with the contents of a Red Cross patient's comfort kit containing pyjamas, thongs, shaving and toilet gear and writing material.
