Description
Correspondence, mostly between Doctor Bryan Gandevia and Mr John Smallridge, regarding the latter's intention to review the role of the 60th Indian Field Ambulance in the Korean War, and publish a book titled `Up and beyond the call of duty' regarding the unit. Correspondence mentions the Field Ambulance's contact with Australian, British, and U.S. troops, and includes some drafts of articles submitted for publication in `Duty First' journal about 1st Battalion Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, the Middlesex Regiment, and the Indian Field Ambulance.
