Aerial photograph of bombs dropped by a Canberra B20 light bomber of No. 2 Squadron RAAF exploding along the line of a canal running through paddy fields near Phu Cat in the southern Mekong Delta area. The aim of the bomb strike was to destroy structures that the Viet Cong (VC) was using as headquarters buildings and storehouses for food and ammunition. This image is the third and last in a series with P1009/09/06 and P1009/09/05 that shows successive stages in the same bombing run. (Formerly 200251)
