Tel el Kebir, Egypt. c. 1916-01. Informal portrait of Major (later Lieutenant Colonel) Alan Humphrey Scott (left), 4th Battalion, and Captain Anderson. Major Scott won the DSO at Lone Pine, Gallipoli, and was the Commanding Officer of the 4th Battalion from 1915-08 to 1916-01. He was killed in action, 1 October 1917.
