Baghdad, Mesopotamia. 1918-06. Rear view of the New Zealand Troop of the 1st Wireless Signals Squadron, Mesopotamian Expeditionary Force, on their last parade at The Horselines, their billet outside the south gate of the city. The New Zealanders had been serving with the Squadron since they arrived in the country in 1917-04-18 and were leaving for service with the Divisional Signal Company in France. (Donor E. Keast Burke)
