"How will that do sister?"
Description
Various Ragtime sketches of soldiers, one stands smoking a pipe and holding a frying pan with the words "How will that do Sister" inscribed beneath. Another soldier smokes, two sit and read, and one stands slightly slumped, holding what could be a bed sheet. Part of a series of sketches entitled 'Ragtime sketches round the 47th General Hospital, France.'
This drawing is attributed to Louis Vasco - the artist's given name was Vasco Loureiro but he enlisted as Louis Vasco and has signed his name 'Vasco', 'Spr Vasco'.
