Gambut, Cyreniaca, Libya. c. November 1943. Aircraftman (AC) F. A. Gabriel; AC G. F. Temby and Leading Aircraftman Colin Morley Rogers, members of No. 454 (Baltimore) Squadron RAAF, a General Reconnaissance Squadron, operating from an airfield in the desert, enjoying a meal in the squadron mess. These three airmen have been in the Middle East for two and a half years and have seen action in Syria, Egypt, Tunisia, Sicily and Italy.
