[HMAS Canberra escorts 1st Convoy]
Description
Several long shots taken from HMAS Canberra showing troopship of the first convoy transporting the 2nd AIF to the Middle East. The remainder of this item is probably out takes from F11472 William Thomas Aldis Moran home movies of his service with the Royal Australian Navy and the Royal Navy 1935-1940. Shows eight shots of waves splashing over the bow of a heavy cruiser (possibly HMAS Australia) and some of the title boards as in F11472.
