Description
Handwritten booklet of poems titled `Australian and American Prisoners of War -Java' containing poems of Allied soldiers (authors of some poems are not named), probably compiled in Batavia. Themes explored include area and fighting in Malaya, thoughts of Australia and family, and sacrifice of those who died (including personnel of HMAS Perth and crews of A16-19 and A16-94 aircraft).
