Amiens, France. 1917-05-06. Studio portrait of 2035 Private Arthur Bithel Jenkins, 47th Battalion, who enlisted 3 December 1915. Jenkins first served with the 45th Battalion and then served with 47th Battalion in Egypt and on the Western Front. He reverted to the 45th Battalion on 25 May 1918. In World War 2 he served with the 7th Garrison Battalion. Note that Jenkins is unexplainably wearing what appears to be a 13th Brigade colour patch, possibly of the 50th or 51st Battalion. (Donor R.
