North Korea, c. 1950-11. Two unidentified members of the Machine Gun Section, 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), make their way along the edge of a paddy field as they form part of a line of 3RAR troops on the move. The soldier in the lead is carrying in each hand a box of ammunition for a Vickers medium machine gun and has a pack and a rifle on his back. The man behind him who is wearing a pile cap is also carrying a box of ammunition for the Vickers and a pack on his back. (Donor I. Robertson)
