Chipyong-ni area, Korea, 1951-03. An official party commences a tour of inspection of the lines of the 3rd Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (3RAR), at the IX Corps rest area. The soldiers are (left to right): 2/510 Captain Leonard Arthur Eyles, Adjutant; an unknown Australian general who is making an official visit to 3RAR; an unknown British staff officer (at rear); 3/40048 Major Walter Frederick Brown who is administering command of 3RAR in the absence on leave in Japan of its Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Ian Bruce Ferguson; 4/400059 Lieutenant Leonard Montague Montgomerie; Brigadier Basil Aubrey Coad, Commander of the 27th British Commonwealth Infantry Brigade.
