Japan, 1948-06-12. 3/86 Lieutenant Colonel Fergus MacAdie (left), Commanding Officer of the 67th Infantry Battalion serving with BCOF, and his bride at their wedding reception party at Mudge Hall, the former palace of a Japanese prince which had been taken over as a club for American cavalry officers. The bride brandishes a ceremonial sword that will be used to cut the wedding cake. Standing at right are one of the groomsmen, 5/8000 Major Thomas Angelo Rodriguez, the Officer Commanding (OC) 'A' Battery, Royal Australian Artillery (RAA), and a bridesmaid. (Donor I. Robertson)
