Northern Australia. Consolidated PBY-5 Catalina flying boat aircraft, RAAF serial no. A24-53, attached to No. 43 Squadron RAAF, taxiing into water with assistance from RAAF personnel. This aircraft was delivered to the RAAF in April 1943 and shot down over Balikpapan, Borneo, on 21 April 1944.
