Description
A topographic map made from three sheets covering Southern Thailand from Bangkok south to the Malayan border.. Scale 1:1,000,000, edition 5, sheet NB 47, series HIND 5000, Survey of India, 1954. Shows international boundaries, the Andaman Sea, South China Sea and Gulf of Siam, islands and sea depths, populated places, main roads, railway and stations, post offices and telegraph lines, rivers and streams, terrain features. Annotated by hand highlighting borders and naming countries. An overlay titled 'Terrain Conditions - Kra Isthmus (Very Generalised)' is stapled to the base map and shows rainforest-covered mountains, lowlands, ricefields and swamp areas.
