Nui Dat, South Vietnam. 1968. A blue metal quarry, operated by a detachment of 17th Construction Squadron, Royal Australian Engineers (RAE). The quarry supplies each week about 1200 cubic yards of crushed rock for road building, concreting and airstrip surfacing around the 1st Australian Task Force (1ATF) base.
