Cologne (Koln), Germany. c. 1942. Aerial photograph of the city showing damage after bombing by allied air forces on the night of the 30/31 May 1942 which devastated the centre of the city, destroying 600 acres. No. 460 Squadron of the RAAF was represented in this first 1000-bomber raid on the city. (Original glass negative housed in the AWM Archive Store).
